// Mescalero 175 "Truck Stop" to IHS Compound Ferry Service

  • Bryant Blakemore
  • Tuesday, June 21, 2016
Mescalero 175 "Truck Stop" to IHS Compound Ferry Service

If you are planning to attend the Mescalero 175 in a large rig (Motorhome, Semi, Large Race Trailer) your parking area will be at the end of RR 192 just before the dirt road begins. This area is 20 miles from the Indian Hot Springs Ranch compound but is the best location for your vehicles as the road into the ranch could present an issue for travel.

TORRA is providing a "ferry" service (Pickup truck and open trailer) to move race vehicles, pit supplies, and personnel during the weekend starting with move in (Tech Inspection/Registration). To best accommodate you please send an email to bryant@torraracing.com, text, call, iMessage 956-434-9065, and a wall post or message to TORRA's Facebook page (please use ALL contact methods) notifying us when you have reached the town of Sierra Blanca before turning off Exit 87 (If coming from the East) and an hour before turning off Exit 87 (If coming from the West). This will allow us adequate time to leave the ranch and reach the "Truck Stop" (Just a name, not an actual truck stop) by the time you arrive.

We will also be monitoring and communicating on the Weatherman channel via radio.

Once contact is made we can arrange all other transportation needs for the rest of the weekend.

We will also provide parking areas for any race vehicle you wish to leave at the compound Friday night so it is ready for the race Saturday morning. They will be safe and a kept under watch. Covered parking areas are available on a first come first served basis.

Thank You and we look forward to having you out to #makesomedust with the Tejas Off Road Racing association.
