Any two wheel drive vehicle utilizing a full cage and V8 engine.

BITD Class 1400, 1500, 6100

If three or more vehicles fall into one of the above categories and the teams want to split off from the Unlimited class into a class of their own, it could be allowed at the discretion of the Race Director, but only if there will still be at least three vehicles left in the Unlimited class.

Any four wheel drive vehicle utilizing a full cage and V8 engine.

Any two wheel drive buggy utilizing a water cooled, 4 cylinder engine.

BITD Class 1000 WC, 2400, 3000, 5000 WC

If three or more vehicles fall into one of the above categories and the teams want to split off from the Water Cooled Buggy class into a class of their own, it could be allowed at the discretion of the Race Director, but only if there will still be at least three vehicles left in the Water Cooled Buggy class.

Any two wheel drive buggy utilizing an air cooled, 4 cylinder engine

BITD Class 1000 AC, 1100, 2000, 5000 AC, 5100

If three or more vehicles fall into one of the above categories and the teams want to split off from the Air Cooled Buggy class into a class of their own, it could be allowed at the discretion of the Race Director, but only if there will still be at least three vehicles left in the Air Cooled Buggy class.

Any two or four wheel drive truck utilizing a full or partial frame.

BITD Class 7100, 7200, 8000, 8100,

In addition to the Bro Lite Rules the trucks will be required to have the following:

1 (one) Rear Facing Amber Light

1 (one) Forward Facing Amber Light

2 (two) Functioning Red Brake Lights (factory brake lights are acceptable)

1 (one) Fire Extinguisher Mounted In The Cab Within Reach Of Driver

1 (one) Horn or Siren

1 (one) In Cab Rear View Mirror

Also note: Some desert races will be taking place in low or no light conditions so driving lights may be necessary.

UTVs

Any UTV using a factory UTV frame or a full tube custom frame. Street bike, snow mobile or UTV engine can be used. Maximum engine size 1000cc. No car engines. Must have 2 seats. Max wheelbase 124”. The 124” wheel base can be achieved by cutting the factory frame or built into the custom tube frame. Any type of suspension is allowed. This is an open UTV class, with the exception of wheelbase, width and tire size.

Any UTV built using production UTV’s, manufactured by registered companies, that issues Vin #’s. UTV’s must have 2 seats and OEM engines. Maximum engine size is 1000cc. Must use hood, grill, front and rear fenders from the UTV.

The Stock/Sportsman class is for any UTV team that wants to race but does not care, to race for championship points or prize money. The Sportsman class has lower entry fees. Any UTV vehicles that are not built to the Pro UTV production class rules, but are classified as a UTV by a UTVRA tech inspector will be allowed race in the Stock/Sportsman UTV class.

Any engine may be used provided it is a design that is readily available to the general public in the U.S. and it displaces more than 115 cc.

Expert Class

Amateur Class
